Initially a 4 year retraining plan for a bachelor’s degree in social work was obtained by our law firm. Obtaining a 4 year retraining plan in
Minnesota workers’ compensation is no easy task. When the injured worker developed unforeseen medical problems our office was
successful in getting an additional one year of retraining benefits (or 25%) so that our client could
successfully complete his bachelor’s degree in social work.
Our client became successfully employed as a social worker after the retraining plan.
