Leala Sparks - Paralegal
Leala Sparks received her paralegal degree at Waterson Technical College in Oxnard, California in 1993. Leala relocated to Bemidji from California in July of 2004 and has been with attorney Mark Rodgers since July 2004. Leala has worked as a paralegal since 1997 and has worked in the legal field since 2004. Leala has worked as a paralegal since 1997 and has worked in the legal field since 1992. Leala has experience in workers' compensation cases and civil litigation in both State and Federal Court.

Leala is married with three children. She enjoys camping, hiking, riding dirt bikes, snowmobiling and spending time with her family.

Leslie Dukek - Legal Assistant
Leslie graduated from Bemidji State University in 2001 with a degree in Secondary Health Education. She has worked part-time as a legal assistant at Rodgers Law Office since September of 2007. In addition, Leslie instructs driver's education for the Bagley High School and is the secretary of Dukek Logging and Trucking, Inc.

Tanya Sanders - Paralegal
Tanya relocated to Bemidji from Oregon in 2008. She has worked as a paralegal since 2003 in various areas of law, including workers' compensation, civil litigation, domestic relations, and probate at both the state and federal levels. She has been with Rodgers, Garbow & Jelokov since February of 2010.

Tanya is married with 1 child. She enjoys camping, fishing, hiking and spending time with her family and friends.

Brenda Cartwright – Paralegal
Brenda is a Paralegal for Rodgers Law Office. She has worked for attorney Mark Rodgers since July 2006. She graduated from Bemidji State University in May 1988, with a degree in Social Work. She worked in Human Services for thirteen years. She completed her Certificate for Paralegal from Blackstone Paralegal Studies in March of 2004.

Brenda and her husband, Gary, enjoyed raising their two daughters, Nicole and Jennifer in the Bemidji area. Her hobbies include snowmobiling, four-wheeling, volleyball, music and spending time with her family and friends.
